CONCLUDING PRAYERS

Hail Mary
Pray three additional Hail Marys to honor the tears of Mary, Our Sorrowful Mother, and ask her help to achieve true contrition for our sins.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be
Add one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be, for the intentions of the Pope.

Final Prayer

V. Pray for us, O most Sorrowful Virgin.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we now implore, both for the present and for the hour of our death, the intercession of the most Blessed Virgin Mary, Your Mother, whose holy soul was pierced at the time of your Passion by a sword of grief. Grant us this favor, O Savior of the world, Who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen.

Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

This concludes the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Our Father (The Lord's Prayer)
V. Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
R. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary
V. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
R. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
R. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
