Scripture Reading, Acts 2: 1-7, 11
When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each of them. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.

Now there were devout Jews of every nation under heaven staying in Jerusalem. At this sound, they gathered in a large crowd, but they were confused because each one heard them speaking his own language. They were astounded, and in their amazement they asked, "Are not all these people who are speaking Galileans? . . . yet we hear them speaking in our own tongues of the mighty acts of God."

Virtue: Love. If you wish, concentrate on the virtue associated with this Mystery and ask God's grace to achieve it.

Holy Name: Jesus who fills us with the Holy Spirit. If you wish, add the Holy Name phrase after the name of Jesus in each Hail Mary of the decade, to remember the theme of the Mystery.

Our Father (The Lord's Prayer)
V. Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
R. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary
V. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
R. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
R. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Invocation: The Mexican Rosary finishes each decade with the invocation of your choice. See examples in Quick Guide to the Rosary: Mexico. The U.S. Rosary omits the invocation or uses the "Fatima Prayer."

Fatima Prayer
V. O my Jesus, forgive us our sins.
R. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy.

Hymn: In Mexico it is customary to sing two or three verses of a hymn after each decade. See Quick Guide to the Rosary: Mexico. In general the U.S. Rosary does not include hymns.
