Flowers are for sale everywhere during the season of the dead,
especially flor de muerto or "flower of the dead",
a variety of marigolds (Tagetes spp.) used to decorate
graves. |

The flower is also known by its Nahuatl name, cempohualxochitl
or zempasuchil. |
