Public Spaces:
Exhibits and Contests |
|
Various groups organize ofrenda exhibits and contests
in Totimehuacán -- the town government, local schools,
and civic associations. It was not possible to photograph
all the exhibitions and contests held in 2002. The following
pages present scenes from two events. |

The public ofrenda shown at left includes an Adelita-style
dress, the regional costume of the state of Jalisco. (Totimehuacán
is located in the state of Puebla). |
