TOTIMEHUACAN IN THE
HISTORIA TOLTECA-CHICHIMECA

The Historia Tolteca-Chichimeca (HTCh) is a codex --an illustrated native manuscript -- from the Puebla Valley, central Mexico, produced in the 16th century.
It recounts the history of several towns and ethnic groups from the late 12th century (1116 A.D.) until the year 1544 A.D.
This Web site presents brief episodes from the HTCh, with special attention to the precolumbian dominion of Totimehuacán, in the present-day state of Puebla, Mexico.
